Brava – methodological preparation meeting marks the beginning of activities for the 2016-2017 school year

Nova Sintra, September 13, 2016 - Under the motto " All and all, without distinction of any order, have the right to a quality education ! ", marked the first day of the preparation meeting methodology in the smallest inhabited island in the country.
Alão N obre from Paços do Concelho received the local teaching staff, where the new Educational Leaders were also presented .
Orlando burgo, Education Delegate at Brava believes that the conditions have already been met for the start of the new school year " we did the first day of work in this meeting with the teaching staff and we will continue these days to prepare the start of the school component . - fair, the 19th, we will have the Official Opening of the 2016-2017 School Year and I believe that the conditions for its start have already been met ".
With regard to the teaching staff and students, the Delegate of Education points out that "as regards the basics , the problem is practically solved, with only minor rough edges remaining . request to recruit more teachers and we are waiting for their appointment ".
During this Tuesday's meeting, the Guidance Booklet and the School Calendar for pre-school , basic and secondary education were also shared .
A total of 288 students are expected in Preschool, 1111 in Basic Education and 311 in Secondary Education . In terms of teachers, there will be 26 for Preschool, 54 for Basic and 43 for Secondary Education .
