Brava – Orlando Balla from MPD wins municipal race 2016
Santa Maria – 4 September – Candidate Orlando Balla of the Movement for Democracy, won the race for the Municipality of Brava in this 2016 municipal elections, with 59% of the votes from 19 of the 23 polling stations.
Candidate Orlando Balla wins the 2016 municipal elections on the island of Brava, where PAICV candidate Manuel Gomes was also present.
The result obtained in 23 polling stations on the island gave victory to the MPD candidate, Orlando Balla, who will govern for another four years.
