Nova Sintra, Aug 18 (Bravanews) - The debate between MpD candidate Orlando Balla and PAICV's Manuel Ramos Gomes for the Presidency of Camara da Brava took place today, August 18.

According to Joao Pereira, resident in the Parish of Nossa Senhora do Monte, the candidate Orlando Balla repeated the same proposals he had in 2012, with the aggravating factor of saying that in 4 years only 21 jobs were created.

Pereira, in his analysis, was astonished by the fact that only 21 jobs were created on the island in 4 years, challenging Brava voters to think carefully about whether they will vote for someone who has done very little in 4 years.

This citizen recalled that Balla was always against animal husbandry in urban and semi-urban centers, on an island where this practice has been rooted in people's hearts for generations.

It goes further to recall the criticisms leveled at the fact that the MDR supports artisanal fishermen.

With regard to the candidate Manuel Ramos Gomes, this citizen believes that he has shown vision, intellectual capacity and knowledge of the intricacies of the relationship between municipal power and the Government.

He ends by saying that people should think carefully before going to the polls, because choosing a team for the 4 years is not about choosing Miss Sao Joao.
