Municipality Day/Brava: The public wakes up vibrating to the sound of Zé Espanha

The artist Zé Espanha closed today with a golden key the first day of the festival alluding to the commemoration of the Day of the Municipality of Brava, at the multi-sports center of Santana, just a few minutes before 07:00.

The night started with a group of Rappers from Brava, which, according to J-Rex, a member of the group, is the second time that they are participating in these festivities and the support shown by the public shows them that the message is passed.

The event continued with the voices of Brava, where Ricky Mendes continued the night of the show, followed by Deby Tavares, a Brave native who has already been in the music business for some time, but this is her first time onstage at the Valentine's Day festivities. For this artist, performing on the island and on this stage was a “very strong emotion”, even more after seeing that the public has been following her work, which was demonstrated during the show.

Wilson Almeida and Garry continued with the night's performances, and made the audience "shake their feet" and sing their songs in chorus, something that left these artists amazed.

And Garry, who has already performed for the second consecutive time on this stage, said that the reception he received today was no different from what he received last year, as the euphoria and vibrancy of the public was “the maximum”.

After much euphoria, with the sounds of these artists, Zé Espanha took the stage, around 06:00, moving the public in such a way and the euphoria of the people made the artist emotional.

“It was such a strong 'heat' that I don't remember when I felt it. This reception was different from the two performances made in previous years”, said Zé Espanha, stressing that people sang and danced with him every song in his repertoire.

This artist considered that the population of Brave has a “very great” energy and that, to satisfy the fans, he kept singing and dancing, having to leave the stage straight to Furna pier, to continue his journey.

The people present since the beginning of the festival and who woke up to the sound of Zé Espanha, left the event “completely satisfied”, not only with this artist, but with everyone who passed through the stage on Friday night.

However, they criticized the organization for the delay between the artists, but also for the delay in starting activities, something that the public says is recurrent in order to prolong the show.

In terms of occurrences, the commander of the Brava Police Station assured Inforpress that the event took place “normally” and that there were no incidents.

The activities alluding to the feast of the patron saint Nho Sandjon continue and today the delivery of gifts was carried out, the usual drumming, followed by the construction of the mast at dawn, which will be followed by the eucharist in honor of the Saint, the traditional lunch, the boat to the mast, and at night the cultural activities continue with another day of festival.
