Brava: Citizen accuses Police of undue action

Nova Sintra City, Jun 01 (Bravanews) - Cesar Lima, a well-known citizen of the town of Mato, on Brava Island, accuses the National Police of improper action, for having arrested him and taken him to the Police Station, without knowing what it was about.

Cesar tells that last weekend, around five in the afternoon, three police officers arrived at his residence, duly uniformed, to be asked, in the presence of the minor children, to accompany them to the Nova Sintra Police Station.

Taken to the police station, he was placed in a saddle, still not knowing why he was arrested, the reasons for this humiliating decision and when he would be released.

After a few hours, Cesar came to know that this humiliation came from the complaint of a cousin of his, to whom he had lent a radio and because “I sent for it”, he misunderstood it and called the authorities.

Cesar said he is ashamed, sad and "I feel very humiliated", so he considers resorting to the law to assert his right.

Bravanews was unable to reach the speech to find out about the police version, as our contacts with Commander Nelson de Pina, via social networks, had no effect. Later we will bring the police version.
